With more than <strong>50 attacks<\/strong> by Yemen&#8217;s Houthis in recent weeks, the world&#8217;s <strong>major shipping lines<\/strong> have been forced to halt their operations in this channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Red Sea is a <strong>strategic route<\/strong> connecting <strong>Europe, Asia and Africa<\/strong>, and the ongoing siege has created a critical situation for international trade. The immediate impact is reflected in a significant delay in the arrival of essential supplies for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operinter.com\/en\/industrial-services\/\">various industries<\/a>, generating widespread fears of possible <strong>price increases<\/strong> globally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this context, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.operinter.com\/en\/\">Operinter<\/a>, as an international logistics operator, keeps abreast of the current situation and is in <strong>constant communication<\/strong> with its customers to keep them informed. This increase in distance and travel time not only affects the <strong>operating costs<\/strong> of shipping lines, but also has a direct impact on <strong>logistical efficiency<\/strong> and the timely delivery of goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Shortage of supplies<\/h5>\n\n\n\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aecoc.es\/\">Association of Manufacturers and Distributors (AECOC)<\/a> has also expressed its concern about the <strong>lack of supply<\/strong> of consumer products. A situation that could worsen with the arrival of the <strong>Chinese New Year<\/strong> on 10 February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Spain <\/strong>imports 100 billion euros worth of key Asian products annually, such as food, textiles and fashion, hardware and DIY, and technology goods.
