Operinter participates in the 30th edition of Intermodal South America, a leading global logistics event

Intermodal South America held its 30th edition in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. Once again this year, it has established itself as the global epicenter of logistics, freight forwarding and foreign trade. The event brought together close to 45,000 professionals and more than 700 exhibiting brands, making it the forum where the trends that will guide the supply chain in the future are defined.

Operinter, an international logistics operator, has actively participated in this strategic environment to project its operational capacity and its extensive network of services on a global scale. The company has had a space designed to facilitate networking. networking and to promote direct meetings with customers and strategic partners within the framework of the Alonso Forwarding stand , Alonso’s international freight forwarding brand.

The future: innovation, intermodality and geopolitics

In this new edition of Intermodal, both the presentations and the exhibitors’ proposals revolved around three fundamental axes: multimodality of transport, adaptation to new technological trends and the evolution of international geopolitics . The experts agreed that multimodality is the most efficient way to connect logistics nodes in an agile manner, combining different modes of transport to optimize routes and delivery times.

At the same time, the adoption of cutting-edge technological solutions has been consolidated as a differential factor to ensure a more accurate, predictive and efficient management of international operations.

Finally, the current geopolitical landscape has been at the center of the event’s debate. The conflict in the Middle East has increased instability in strategic shipping lanes, such as the Strait of Hormuz, and has made marine fuel up to 90% more expensive in recent weeks. These challenges condition logistics efficiency and demand greater resilience from the industry.
