Operinter will once againbe present at the 2026 Canton Fair, one of the leading hubs for international trade. The event, held in Guangzhou (China) is marked by two major milestones. It marks its 140th edition and celebrates the 70th anniversary of its founding. This history reflects the fair’s ability—as a firsthand witness to the evolution of international trade—to connect companies from around the world and open up new markets.

Since 1957, the event—also known as the China Import and Export Fair—has evolved into a premier showcase for manufacturers, buyers, and professionals from around the world. The 2026 edition features more than 32,000 exhibiting companies and has registered more than 220,000 pre-registrations from international buyers from 197 countries.

Sustainability, AI, and innovation

The event is organized intothree phases focused on advanced manufacturing, household products, and consumer goods. In addition to its broad sectoral scope, this edition focuses on technological innovation, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. Trends that are redefining how goods are produced, distributed, and marketed, and that require supply chains that are increasingly agile, efficient, and adaptable.

In this scenario, logistics plays a decisive role. Turning a business opportunity into an efficient international operation requires coordinating transportation, customs clearance, warehousing, and distribution. The connection between Asian markets and the rest of the world depends on solutions capable of addressing different operational needs and challenges.
